  • Body image distress

  • Compulsive dieting

  • Disordered eating

  • Other related concerns

Lisa’s passion is working with:

  • Anorexia Nervosa

  • Bulimia Nervosa

  • Binge Eating Disorder (BED)

  • Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED)

She has worked with patients through the various levels of care ranging from a residential facility for eating disorders to individuals at an outpatient level who are hoping to repair their relationships with their bodies. Lisa also offers Family Based Treatment (FBT) where parents of adolescents are provided with tools and guidance as the family battles an eating disorder as an alternative to higher levels of care.

If food, exercise, and body image are running your life, Lisa can provide hope. Through individual therapy, clients explore what is going on at a deeper level. Often times, how you relate to your body and food speaks to your relationship with yourself, unresolved pain, and feelings of self-worth.

In a weight-driven society that promotes restriction and food judgment, it’s hard not to fall into these traps. Many individuals attach judgment to food, however, our relationship with our bodies should be one of nourishment and joy, not a self-destructive means of coping with our problems.

In therapy, clients can begin to weave in self-compassion and work towards freedom from food struggles. All people are deserving of a peaceful relationship with their bodies. Lisa can help you find what that looks like for you.
